The ITSSAR-accredited Reach Truck Training course delivered by SID Training is designed to equip operators with the essential skills, knowledge, and confidence required to safely operate reach trucks in warehouse and storage environments. - Experienced Worker – Aimed at operators who have relevant practical experience but lack formal certification, this program covers essential skills. Duration: 2 days  Group Size: Maximum of 2 delegates  

- Refresher – This short course is ideal for qualified operators seeking to update their certification and maintain compliance. Duration: 1 day  Group Size: Maximum of 3 delegates  

- Conversion – For operators who are already certified on one type of forklift and wish to transition to operating a counterbalance forklift, this training is crucial. Duration: 2 days  Group Size: Maximum of 2 delegates

Throughout the Forklift Training course, delegates will develop a strong understanding of: safe operation of a reach truck, operator responsibilities and workplace safety awareness, daily pre-use inspections and fault reporting procedures, stability principles and working safely at height, safe manoeuvring in narrow aisles and confined warehouse environments, correct load handling, lifting, and high-level stacking practices, accurate load placement within racking systems, loading and unloading procedures where applicable, and end-of-shift procedures along with safe shutdown of equipment. This comprehensive training is essential for those involved in HGV Training and Reach Truck Training, ensuring that all operators are well-prepared for their roles.

All candidates will complete both a theoretical test and a practical skills assessment at the end of the course for Forklift Training, HGV Training, and Reach Truck Training.
