The ITSSAR-accredited training for Sideloader Forklift is provided exclusively on-site at your premises by SID Training. This approach allows your team to receive effective on-site forklift training using your own equipment in a familiar working environment.

Sideloader forklifts are specifically designed to handle long and bulky loads such as timber, steel, and piping. Their unique sideways loading capability makes them ideal for narrow aisles and operations where extended materials need to be transported safely and efficiently.

This sideloader training course combines both theoretical knowledge and practical training, ensuring operators fully comprehend safe operating procedures, workplace responsibilities, and strategies to minimize risks when handling long loads.

A strong emphasis is placed on load security, visibility, and maintaining stability while transporting oversized materials. Operators will learn how to maneuver safely in confined spaces and navigate around pedestrians and other vehicles within the workplace.

Pre-use inspections are thoroughly covered, enabling operators to identify faults and conduct essential safety checks before operating the equipment.

Upon successful completion, delegates will receive an ITSSAR-accredited Certificate of Training, which is recognized throughout the UK and within the industry.

Throughout the ITSSAR accredited training course, delegates will develop a strong understanding of:

- Daily pre-use inspections and fault reporting procedures

All candidates will complete both a theoretical test and a practical skills assessment at the end of the ITSSAR accredited training course. Upon successful completion, delegates will receive an ITSSAR-accredited Certificate of Training, recognized across the UK and widely accepted within industry, such as for on-site forklift training and sideloader training courses.
