SiD Training, a logistics training specialist in North Staffs are pleased to announce that they have received funding for up to 10 individual HGV drivers to upgrade their current qualifications to allow them to drive fuel tankers or to transport dangerous goods and/or packages by completing a full ADR by completing a full ADR, Hazardous Goods Course. As an additional option drivers can choose to take up to 4 days of their mandatory drivers CPC modules at a nominal cost to the individual.

The Government has funded several training schemes within the logistics industry over the last year under the so called ‘Skills Bootcamp Scenario’ and this ADR training will be the final one of the year for SiD Training.

Course organiser, Claire Jackson said ‘this is only our third ADR course but we have achieved a 100% pass rate on each course so far’.

The course is running from Monday 24th October – Fri 28th October 2022. The course would normally cost between £600 and £700 but is it F.O.C. to eligible drivers. Basically the only criteria is that the driver is willing to take on a new better paid driving job by utilising the new qualification.
